Questions

Good to know

Is my keepsake really going to space?

Yes. It’s stored on a small storage payload that rides aboard a real commercial satellite. You get a unique fingerprint for your file, a flight certificate, and live tracking of the satellite itself.

When is the first launch?

We’re finalizing our launch partner now, and we’ll announce the date as soon as it’s confirmed. Everyone who reserves will hear first, with the date and next steps.

How long will it stay in orbit?

As long as its host satellite does, typically a few years in low orbit. At the end of its journey, the satellite returns through the atmosphere like a shooting star.

What can I send?

Photos, letters, drawings and other artwork, up to 25 MB per keepsake. That’s room for several high-resolution photos, or a scanned drawing with a letter. JPG, PNG and PDF all work.

Is the app safe for kids?

It’s built kid-safe from the start: no open chat for young users, parental controls, and privacy first.
